Our Sunday at the beach
started with very low tides which made sea creatures clearly visible.
After surveying their surroundings,
the girls were ready for fun in the sun!
Morgan was determined to find enough shells for a necklace.
Although I thought too many shells
would make for one heavy piece of jewelry!
After searching for 15 mins and playing in the water for 30 mins, Morgan needed a nap. This picture was taken before she put her findings to the side and curled up with her towel in the fetal position.
Meanwhile, Kenzi and I enjoyed the sand and water.
After what seemed like a few hours,
Sleepypants woke up and joined us in the water for one last dip.
Barely 2 miles from the park entrance,
both sleepypants and Kenzi were in a deeeeep sleep.
